Downside of Traditional Braces

It is never too late to improve your health with cosmetic dentistry in Aurora, CO and the greater Denver, CO area, but straightening your teeth as an adult can be daunting. What adult wants a mouth full of metal with colored bands? Fitting in all of the extra visits to the dentist for adjustments and broken wires can be a hassle as well. While effective, traditional braces come with their own set of potential hazards, including:

  •  Discomfort
  •  Mouth Sores
  •  Tooth Decay
  •  Tooth Discoloration
  •  Difficulty Eating
  •  Gum Disease

Our Google Patient Review

I started seeing Dr. Braasch in November 2014. Prior to seeing him I had been suffering from years of headaches, jaw pain (jaws pop every time I opened my mouth) and bite problems that caused me to chip 5 teeth. I had braces as a teenager and my teeth had shifted significantly over the years. After reviewing my symptoms and bite problem, Dr. Braasch recommended that I get Invisalign braces to help correct the issues I had been having. I had what was considered a complicated bite issue since I had an open bite in the front and both sides of my teeth. I am 2 months into my 6-month dental plan and I can not believe the dramatic difference already. I have not been getting headaches, my jaw popping/pain has gone away and I am no longer having the bite issues that I had before. I would highly recommend Dr. Braasch and his entire staff. He is very knowledgeable and makes going to the dentist worry free.
